Java Developer for a Scrum project

On behalf of a leading Danish media group we are looking for a Java Developers in Kyiv.

We expect from YOU:

• Full participation in research, design, and development of high-performance web publishing platform (Java/Tomcat/MySQL5/Linux cluster)
• Work in integrated development environment, including both traditional development as well as research & development with use of cutting-edge new technologies.
  

On a daily basis, YOU will be busy with:

• Developing code in compliance to coding, documentation and quality conventions accepted within the team.
• Working with project iterations planning and execution according to SCRUM
• Participation with the whole team in elaboration and implementation of design and architecture
• Research related to new projects and new technologies and technical approaches
• Discussing improvement suggestions on regular basis
• Day-to-day communication with a SCRUM Master and technical staff at the customer’s site
  

YOU MUST HAVE:

Solid (at least 2+years) experience in: Java 1.5.xx, JSP 2.0, Servlet 2.4, Tomcat 5.0.xx , JSTL 1.1, XML, MySQL5, Subversion, Test tools (junit and/or silktest, profiling, stress testing, etc)

Would be NICE if you have:

SCRUM/Agile understanding, some experience in PHP, SOAP, Apache 2.2.x, Eclipse IDE, Google APIs. toolkits, search, JQuery / Ajax / MoJo, Process/Issue tracking tools: Jira/TFS or similar, Build tools (ant, etc), UML and UML tools, web application security evaluation experience and/or experience from Media and publishing domain
